In its role as a semi-permanent crown and bridge material, LuxaCrown bridges the gap between simple temporary provisionals and permanent dental prostheses with its remarkable properties of strength, durability and aesthetics.

In-vitro studies into the relevant mechanical properties such as resistance to abrasion, fracture toughness and flexural strength have demonstrated the outstanding mechanical strength of the material.

Longevity has estimated by standardized chewing and wear simulation combined with artificial aging. These results suggest survival rates up to five years. (Long-term studies are currently underway.)
